Just to let you know before reading my review that I wrote my review as I was reading so I didn’t forget anything I wanted to say. So please keep that in mind when you reading this and if it seems like I am making any guesses as to what MIGHT happen this is why.I’m a little leery of reading Rick’s books because he was such an ass in Joe & Liss, and Dex & Becca’s books. I’m hoping these next few book change my outlook on him because I want to like him.
Okay so Rick is:
• Very sarcastic
• Can be a jerk at times
• Actually has a sense of humor
• And 99% of the time he seems to be sarcastic (but comes off as a dick)
Jules seems to bring out the extreme sarcastic side out in Rick. He seems to like the way the argue back and forth…he’s found someone who isn’t afraid to tell him when to for lack of a better term “screw you”, and he enjoys it immensely. Jules on the other hand has been so angry at the world for so long that she doesn’t seem to know how to take Rick…not just how he is but also how he makes her feel. She’s also not afraid to tell Rick where he can stick it…no matter who is around OR in listening or viewing range.
As much of a jerk that Rick is…DANG he is hot even when he’s a jerk. I was scared and intrigued all at once for Rick’s 3 shorts…and I am SO glad they are out now cause I am seriously hooked on reading about this little jerk now…LOL.
I see Jules mom ruining everything for Jules…not only where Rick is concerned but also her new album.

This was a nice installment to the Rocked series. Clara Bayard does a great job of sucking you right into the story. The only downside.....I'm left waiting to see what happens between Julia and Rick. Can't wait for the next book!! 0)
Wow what a pun. Loved the plot and writing style. This book is great. Believable characters. Only drawback was it ended to soon.
As a fanatic fan of Clara Bayard, I was especially interested in Rick's story. I must say the author does not disappoint. I ony wish she would publish the complete novel all at once, and not keep the reader hanging out on a limb for months. The suspense is awful; but well worth the wait. I think ole Rick has finally met his match and will be taken down several notches at the conclusion of this series.
Real good, average people who happen to have a talent, before losing themselves in all the fake hoopla, phony friends, hangers on, n ending up not knowing what's true or real anymore. This story is about talent, egos, insecurities, bad choices, mistakes that plague all humans. It'd about making a choice, screwing up and how they handle the mess. Do they blame others, admit their failings, lie down n give up or fight like hell to get back up and try it again, and again and again.
I really enjoyed this book.
Jules is a really great character to read about, struggling teen star trying to overcome obstacles and do things she enjoys and wants. And not letting her mom suffocate her.
Then the other band walks in and she doesn't let rock push her around and she stands up for herself.
I loved after they were going back and forth with each other when the lights went off and hen the chemistry was intense and then the kiss happened lol
I really enjoyed this story and can't wait for more!!!
OK so none of us liked Rick because he was always mean or drunk. But this book is really a view into how loveable he really is. Clara you packed a lot in a few pages, but it meant a tight story with little fluff. If you don't read this book you will miss out on a integral part of this bands story. First and foremost Jules is fat but she doesn't whine about it. Rick doesn't have to reassure her. This makes their conversations pop as he finds her sexy. I love their banter. It's refreshing. Matthew gets a few lines in as well and it makes you crave his book. He is sooo sweet. I loved it, looking forward to more on these guys.
Loved this book. The characters of Julia & Rick are so dynamic. You know its a good author when you read a rock romance book and there are times that you are actually laughing at some of the lines. It makes it so real because who doesn't laugh or hear funny things in their life?! I think it makes the serious areas even better because it feels like the author is really connecting.
I love the Rick & Julia storyline. There is such conflict and animosity along with passion and lust which is being felt at the same time. There is such a fine line between love and hatred anyway and these two sort of wrote the book on it.
The story of Julia and Jessica was very heartfelt. I definitely can't wait to read more and see who or if someone sets Julia's mother in her place.
